Download CyberEdge's fourth-annual Cyberthreat Defence Report- a comprehensive review of the perceptions of 1,100 IT security professionals representing 15 countries and 19 industries. This report provides the most geographically comprehensive view of IT security perceptions in our industry.
The Cyberthreat Defence Report was created from a study of IT security practitioners and decision makers on the cyberthreats they face, the defenses they have in place, and the future investments they intend to make. The first three installments of the Cyberthreat Defence Report (CDR) began the process of looking beyond major breaches and the never-ending evolution of cyberthreats to better understand what IT security teams are doing to defend against them. The fourth annual CDR pursues the same objective: not so much to inform the IT security community about what the bad guys are up to, but rather to relay how their peers globally are currently defending against threats and the investments they expect to make going forward.
The percentage of organisations affected by successful cyberattacks has risen for the third-consecutive year – from 62 percent in 2014, to 70 percent in 2015, to 76 percent in 2016, and now to 79 percent in 2017.
